Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston, TX U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. In his first years, Baker traveled along with their missionary parents. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment as did the mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker and his father along with their aunt, relocated from Denver in the direction of Denver. Baker had to endure bullying from fellow children because of his lack of wealth. The first time Baker heard of Rap was in the sixth grade. Colson Kelly Baker was born 22 April 1990 in Texas in the United States. His compositions are known to blend modern hip-hop and rock with alternative music. Baker has released four mixtapes over the years between 2007-2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. After delivering lyrics faster than bullet trains and a soaring voice, the Cleveland artist saw an explosive increase in fame and recognition in the year 2011. His career changed from self-released tapes to signing with labels. Over the next few years, each album of his was ranked at the top of the charts.
