Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995, in Berkeley California USA. She is an American actress who was seen in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that includes actors and directors, pursued these professions as well. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. The following year the film, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's daughter as a child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her professional career took off after she landed the role of Nanni's little girl in Close Friends. It was well received at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Ninodi is the director's favorite actress and performed the role of a girl looking for her father's murderer in Trauma. Asia was a part of Dario's The Phantom of the Opera, the third movie she made together with her father. Other films were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. She played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di the vista, a physically handicapped girl, was a difficult and complex role that won it the David di Donatello award for the best actress. The film also featured her in a major part as Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995, she was a co-star alongside Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her an award from the David diDonatello as well as an award called a Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing in the year 1994 and released two short films and an episode from the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she directed a documentary about her father and AbelAsia, a film on the cult director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, that was honoured by the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut feature in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was both the actress leading the film as well as the writer of the screenplay. The film released on May 1, 2000 in Italy as well as all over the world. The film received an award by the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
